An unusual visitor certainly drew the crowds on September weekend.
The Big Man puppet was the focus of community activities all weekend on the island. A lantern parade through Skeoch woods on Friday evening called the blue, 8 metre high giant to Bute . Saturday he had a ceilidh on Guilford Square and Sunday he walked to Ettrick Bay .
With hundreds braving the autumnal weather there was no shortage of people ready to try the towering temptation that is Taste of Bute's Dunagoil Burger and it certainly lived up to the occasion! Good local food and a big blue giant what more could you want?
